When Do I Need an Extraction?

When you have a dental infection, a root canal will work to treat the infected tooth. However, in situations where the infection has gone untreated, it may spread or become complicated and cannot be saved. In this case, your dentist may recommend an extraction.

Wisdom Teeth Extraction

When wisdom teeth erupt in the teenage years, they may come in at an awkward angle or cause overcrowding in the mouth. To prevent further issues, your dentist may recommend a tooth extraction to remove any problematic wisdom teeth.
