About Your Saint John Dentist

Upon graduation, Dr. Adib returned to his home province and has been practicing general dentistry ever since. He offers a comprehensive range of dental services, with a focus on dental implant prosthetics and full mouth rehabilitation.

A key aspect of his practice is collaborating with patients to restore and enhance their smiles through dental implant solutions. Dr. Adib is dedicated to advancing patient care by researching and incorporating new technologies.

He actively participates in local and international dental conferences and holds memberships in local, provincial and national dental associations. In recent years, Dr. Adib has developed a passion for mentoring fellow colleagues on dental practice operations.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, and their two sons. An avid traveler and foodie, he is always on the lookout for new culinary recommendations!

His journey began at Rothesay High School, where he graduated in 2014. Following this, he pursued his passion for education and graduated as the valedictorian of his class at the University of New Brunswick Saint John in 2018, earning a Bachelor of Science degree.

Dr. Arfan’s pursuit of knowledge led him to Montreal, where he attended McGill University. There, he attained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and received prestigious accolades, including the Canadian Dental Association Student Leadership Award for his exceptional qualities of leadership, scholarship, character, and humanity. He was also honored with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Undergraduate Dental Student award for demonstrating the utmost academic and clinical interest in Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Arfan has been practicing and serving the greater Saint John area over the last couple years. His expertise spans various facets of general dentistry, encompassing pediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Dr. Courtney’s journey began at Saint Malachy’s Memorial High School, where she graduated in 2014. She then pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of New Brunswick, graduating as a Queen Elizabeth Scholar with an honours degree in Medicinal Chemistry in 2018.

Continuing her education at McGill University, Dr. Courtney earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During her time at McGill, she received the Dr. Robert Axelrad Award for demonstrating exceptional warmth and empathy toward patients. She also received the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Normal Levine Award for her dedication to pediatric dentistry and care for persons with special needs.

Dr. Courtney is a general dentist proficient in operative dentistry, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Her passion lies in pediatric dentistry, and she is delighted to provide dental care services in English and French at Avenue Dental.
