Dental prostheses are custom-made dental appliances that are used to repair or fill missing teeth. Common prosthodontic treatments include implants, crowns, bridges, dentures and other custom-made oral appliances.

Dentures

Dentures are a type of dental appliance that is used to replace missing teeth. A partial denture can be used to replace one or several teeth, and a full denture is used for a full set. Dentures may take several weeks to create and are fabricated in a dental lab.

Dental Crowns

If you have a tooth that is partially decayed or damaged, your dentist may recommend restoring it with a dental crown. This dental appliance is a tooth-shaped cap fitted to the top of the damaged tooth, restoring its functionality and improving the look of the teeth.
